Market Research and Feasibility Studies
Our vast experience and market knowledge stands us in good stead to help companies find strategic locations for their operations, start their companies and keep them going. For example, we helped INLOG Spa, a logistics and freight company based in Italy, to research on the feasibility of setting up an office in Tianjin, China. After the office was established, we took on the administrative and human resource functions of the company.
Business Missions
We were once tasked to develop the port of Taranto in Italy. We first analyzed the legal and administrative issues related to outsourcing to American companies. Then we arranged business missions for delegates from Taranto to New York and Virginia, and vice versa. We also identifed potential American business partners and facilitated meetings.
Making Your Presence Felt Where It Matters
We have participated in many trade fairs such as:
- SIDEREUS Beijing November 2008: We represented an Italian company called Value Up at a conference on satellite and aerospace technology. The company does research on satellite technology and develops advanced software to track satellites.
- INTERWINE Guangzhou 2009: This is the biggest wine trade show in Guangzhou for foreign sellers to meet local buyers. We were engaged by a few Italian companies to manage a stand and showcase their wines.
- Interwine & Interfood Fair 2009: We representated an Italian farmers’ cooperative at the fair held in Guanzhou. We displayed their wines and contacted buyers.
Overseas Ventures
We have wide-ranging experience in helping companies to operate overseas through partnerships and joint ventures. For example, we supported a client in India to establish a building materials factory in China by purchasing the whole processing line. We were responsible for auditing all the machinery, conducting cost/risk evaluation and technical analyses of procedures for setting up the production line, machinery capabilities, maintenance and warranty conditions, etc.
